Laundry Logistics is a unique system that brings the latest RFID scanning technology and tracking to the Laundry Industry for garments. Health care, Hospitality, Industrial, Teams… we can track it.
How it works…
Employees, residents, or team members are entered in the software. Garments are tagged with an RFID tag and scanned. A short description of the item is added.
Garments can be scanned going to laundry, returning, going to an away game, or just taking inventory.
Why RFID?
Ultra High Frequency RFID tags are our favorite tag for laundry because they offer some unique advantages:
- Can be scanned at a distance, usually 6u20139 feet
- Small size is less obtrusive
- Can be affixed using heat or sewn into garments
- Passive tags are easy to wear
Non-RFID Tags
We love our RFID tags, but also understand some things may not be suitable for RFID. Our system supports any unique ID, such as bar codes, an inventory ID#, anything up to 24 characters.
The item can be tracked the same way the RFID tags are tracked. If you have a bar code system in place already, no worries u2014 you can still use Laundry Logistics.
